Equifax has reported a breach that potentially exposed up to 143 million consumers. Could you be affected?

Find out if you've been affected
Equifax created a website dedicated to the breach which includes a tool that can help determine if you've been affected. To find out if you could be at risk, simply go to www.equifaxsecurity2017.com. From here you can read more about the data breach and receive updates. At the bottom of the page, click "Potential Impact".
What else can you do?
Review account activity
Review your accounts to be sure there are no unauthorized transactions on your account. For instant access use mobile or online banking. If you do not have either, now would be a good time to sign up!
Dispute unauthorized activity
If you suspect fraud, you will need to contact the credit union immediately to dispute the unauthorized transactions.
Review your credit report for accuracy
Contact Equifax to receive your free annual credit report. You may also be eligible for complimentary identity theft protection and credit file monitoring services from them if you are affected.
